A guaranteed issue health and dental plan for those who are leaving an existing medical/dental plan. The Maritime Life partnership site will allow you to get personalized quotes and apply on line.
It is more expensive than the other plans but it guarantees that you can continue to claim for existing medical conditions which obviously has an expense with it, this is appropriately incorporated into the costs.
The "Follow Me" plan was formally known as "Conversion Plus."
If you have no existing medical conditions just take out one of the other health or dental plans as they are generally cheaper.
Please note you must apply within 60 days from leaving your old plan to qualify.
"Follow Me" is unique in that you can convert to this plan if you are losing your old plan, now you may continue to be covered for all the medications you were taking under the old plan.
Other plans do not cover medications for any current medical conditions when you join the plan.
